I was going to post the following on the Wired.com – Parrot Zik review, but the author ‘Michael Calore’ promptly closed the comments, probably scared of more negative responses to his crap review of the Parrot Zik wireless NFC compatible headphones. Anyway I was going to reply to @LeDommage because of his response below:
As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am using the GO Launcher and GO suite of applications. One of them is GO SMS Pro. This app has so many cool features namely; scheduled sms replies (so useful when you don’t want to SMS straight away, but want to send a SMS later), auto reply to incoming calls or contacts in your address book or phone calls when your phone is on silent mode, great themes, night and day modes, scrolling horizontal screens, message filters etc. There are so many more features. Behind the scenes almost everything can be customized. Oh, let me not forget the notification bar. If an auto reply or scheduled response is set, they appear in the notification area. This is a fantastic application.

Tapatalk Pro is an android application that allows you to connect to your favorite forums on your mobile much easier. There are a lot of forums to choose from.
It is a pay application, but for the $2.99 it is well worth it as you get a UI that is very simple to use. You can also do everything that you would do in a forum such as reply, comment, thank, private message, favorite, search and much more.

Here is an awesome app by Gordon Edwards. If you are into ‘listening to others’ be it the police, fire services, swat teams, weather men and women etc, then Scanner Radio allows you to tune in and listen to a whole host of walkie talkie channels all over the world. Think of it as ‘Audio Voyeurism’. 
I spent a good few minutes, OK hours listening to the Chicago police department in Cook County report all sorts of incidents. Quite fascinating to hear all the 10 codes in action.
